Dr. Makwena brings nearly two decades of clinical, forensic, and academic experience to independent medico-legal practice. He currently serves as Head of Clinical Unit at Limpopo Regional Hospital for the Limpopo Department of Health, and as Senior Lecturer in Forensic Medicine at the affiliated health institution.
He serves on the Council of the College of Forensic Pathologists of South Africa (CMSA), and provides continuing professional development seminars in forensic pathology and medico-legal practice for clinicians, legal practitioners, and public and private hospitals.
